Waterfall Arts will offer two exhibitions in conjunction with the Maine Photo Project in 2015.

The Poetry of Maine’s Fog, Rain, Snow and Ice
April 3 through May 8, 2015
Our popular annual open-call show will be all photography, accepting all submitted framed work by artists of any age and skill. This year the work will be photographs made in Maine that depict our natural environment focusing on lyrical images of rain, snow, ice and fog.

Far Up Close: Photography of Lou Garbus, Abe Goodale, and Harlan Crichton
May 22 through July 17, 2015
This exhibition encompasses selected work from three Waldo County photographers, two emerging and one long-celebrated. Lou Garbus, 1917-2010, picked up a camera at the age of 12 in NYC, and made thousands of iconic images of people he met as a career mail carrier and through his community life in the Bronx and Searsmont, ME. Raised in Maine, Abe Goodale and Harlan Crichton make exquisite images of the people and places they meet on their travels; Abe as he walks through South America and Harlan on his motorcycle treks across the US.
